Peckham Old Waiting Room

Circular projection concept in Peckham Old Waiting Room
Proposal visualisationChris Love / Emanation
Premise

A field shaped by the room.

The Old Waiting Room proposal tests Emanation as a site-responsive spatial artwork rather than a fixed screen-based image.

The circular wall projection turns the geometry into an architectural aperture: a luminous field that appears embedded in the room rather than placed in front of it.

Adaptation

The idea stays constant. The form changes.

A second study moves the same system overhead, allowing the ceiling to become the visual plane and the audience to occupy the space beneath it. Scale, orientation, sound and atmosphere alter with the site while the underlying generative logic remains Emanation.

The proposal is part of the wider research into how a digital artwork can become an environmental instrument.
